Andy Serkis aka Gollum of LOTR

Andy Serkis, aka Gollum from Lord of the Rings, visited UW as a part of a book signing tour.  He spoke in the largest lecture hall and signed books afterwards.  I got my DVD signed, which can be found through this link.  The best part of his visit was his reenacting of a scene from the movie!  It sounded exactly like Gollum.  Here are some pictures of the event and the book I got signed.

I hope I'll have a chance to meet even more LOTR crew members.  I enjoyed the movies so much that it adds something extra having met the people behind it.

This was the book he was promoting.  I haven't actually read it because I'm sure most of it is presented on the special features DVDs of the extended editions.
