Ugly dolls has quickly become one of my favorite merchandise.  It doesn't have to explain itself, it doesn't have a reason.  It's just loveable and fun.  I knew that every year David and Sun-Min show up to comic-con in San Diego.  I was fortunate to meet David at SDCC 07.  Unfortunately Sun-Min couldn't make it.  David was a fun and kind person.  He took his time with his fans and spent 3-4 different autograph sessions at the Ugly Doll and Giant Robot booths.

This year's exclusives were Ice Lodge uglies.  Ice Bat made his way around and touched everyone, which turned them to ice.  I liked Ice Lodge Ox the best.  He usually draws random faces on the back, but in this case Ox received his own face. I was a little rushed taking these pictures since I was giving this beloved Ox away, these uglies were as white as snow. 

I was told that David was happy to draw a picture if we'd like.  I grabbed one of these SDCC ugly doll postcards and had him draw something for me.  Nothing beats an original piece of art and it was one of the best highlights of the show.  Thank you David!!!
