The Emerald City comic-con is a small convention held in Seattle every year. It's a fun time and is still growing. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera this year, so there won't be many pictures up. There were lots of guests and definitely a lot of vendors. I brought a friend of mine with me this year and she couldn't resist getting a picture taken with Chewbacca.

I think its funny seeing how small she is compared to him. Too bad he didn't make the classic wookie roar. One of the guests here happened to be David Mack. He is the man responsible for Kabuki. I'm unfamiliar with it but I know someone who was a huge fan. So my brother and I decided to go meet him and pick up something nice as a gift. This is what we ended up with:

A Kabuki quickie sketch! This was cool because we got to see him draw this with a brush pen in a matter of minutes. Very awesome and he was super friendly. I mostly window shopped the whole time but I did pick up a Final Fantasy III trading figure. The price I paid was incredibly low! They sold out everywhere at this show and Sakura-con. I decided to just get one for the exclusivity. Otherwise I'd have to get them all.

I think the Devout costume looks great. I also received more ugly dolls, but they'll be posted in the ugly doll section.
