Hollywood, CA

California is one of those places that have a little bit of something for everyone.  Big fans of movies or celebrities will recognize Hollywood regardless of where you are from.

An excellent view of the most famous sign in the world.  Fortunately, we know someone who lives nearby who tipped us about this great location.  We could hike up to the sign with we'd like.

Welcome to Hollywood!  Here you will find the famous Mann Chinese theatre, Kodak theatre, walk of fame, lots of wannabe actors and so forth.

Mann Chinese theatre.  Just outside is where many celebrities have left their hand and footprints for eternity.  Many date back to the 1950's and names are still being added to this day.

I guess they believe in equal opportunity since droids and evil tyrants are allowed to leave their mark.  Of course the legendary Star Wars trilogy has representatives from around the galaxy.

Harry Potter and his closest friends have left their prints just weeks before we visited. 

Someone's star was being put in during that day.  I wonder who it belongs too....

The famous Kodak theatre.  The Academy Awards have been held here lately.

The shopping areas are over the top and flashy.  Places like Hollywood love standing out and showing off what they can do.

You just expect to see things like this in Hollywood.

The show '10 years Younger' was shooting outside the Kodak theatre that day.

Its fun seeing shoots.  There are usually a ridiculous amount of people working (most of which just stand there).  If you stick around LA you will find shoots everywhere.
