Kwik E Mart, Seattle, WA

Twelve 7-11's across the United States were converted to Apu's Kwik E Mart as a promotion to the new Simpsons movie.  Of the 7-11's chosen happened to be in downtown Seattle.  Being such a huge Simpson's fan, I had to stop by.

The 7-11 sign was simply covered by a tarp with the Kwik E Mart graphics.

It was easy to understand why this 7-11 was chosen.  It was near the space needle and would definitely draw lots of attention.  Fortunately, there weren't to many people there when I went.

The exterior was painted yellow in Simpson's fashion.  There were plastic cut-outs of various Simpsons characters and signs.

Even the side of the building was painted along with the upper roof portion.

Apu himself made an appearance behind the Supreme Pizza Taquito stand.

Of course Homer made an appearance.  He was eating hot dogs instead of donuts.  But with so many choices inside, how could one choose?

Who better to eat pink donuts than Chief Wiggin?  The Kwik E Mart felt so much safer knowing he was there.

Slurpee what?  Sorry, they only have Squishees.  Unfortunately, the cups were the original slurpee ones, otherwise I would have bought one.

Buzz cola was the soda of choice.  I bought a six pack of Buzz since they didn't have Duff beer.

This is where Chief Wiggin got his donut.  These were very colorful donuts that looked like they came straight from the show.

Buzz cola was for sale, along with Krusty O's, donuts, and a copy of Radioactive Man.  Duff beer wasn't sold as to avoid promoting alcohol.  Now go and watch the movie when it comes out!
