This convention was so incredibly fun. It was so fun that I think I'm gonna have to find a good character to portray next year! There were lots of great sights, thanks to all the cosplayers who dressed up.

Outside of the great Washington Convention Center.

My brother and I got there early in the morning, but the line was already 2 hours long. Fortunately we decided to go two days. But I know, who wants to see pictures of the long line we had to stand in? So lets see those costumes!

This was a great trio of Trigun characters. Those costumes were great! Except it looks like Church left his gun at home. I guess his hand will have to do....

Very cool. I'm not quite sure how this person could see outside the box. He was good at keeping a straight face though.

How cool would it be if Taco del Mar always drew in a crowd of would be superheroes? Definitely don't see this everyday....

Found good ole Sonic. There were lots of Marios and Peaches but this Sonic was awesome! Too bad it wasn't a homemade costume...

The badass of all badasses. I guess this is what he would look like if he was real. The outfit was great.

Awwww, how cute... I loved the costumes especially since I just got done playing Final Fantasy III. Not a big fan of the red mage but this was way too good.

Looks familiar, I think...but I'm not sure what we're looking at...

Squall knows how to play the piano. We call him, Piano Squall.

Just had to run into one of these guys. He's so lucky I left my warlock costume back at home. I would have casted fear on him and dotted the crap...oh...damn bubble...

This is so cool....

This was the fiercest Gundam at the show. If you look closely, the box on his head says Moist Meat...

Cosplay group. Nothing like strength in numbers.

This cosplayer had no sense of direction and couldn't tell who was saying what. Fortunately, all this person had to do was stand there and pose.

Look out! Domokun is right behind you! He might bite off your head!

Nice posing action going on. I hope the guy didn't strain his hand...

Even better pose! These ladies know how to entertain.

Gotta have a Cloud and Tifa. They were a popular choice this year and for many years to come.

More Final Fantasy characters. Now does that Auron look like Auron or what?

Advent Children! These were great!

Yuffie, caught slacking using that cell phone.

One of the first things I picked up. I brought the Nausicaa dvd from home because I know the japanese voice actress, Sumi Shimamoto would be there. Now is that cool or what? And I gotta pick up some Totoro merchandise. That is a small plush magnet.

Revoltech convoy! I could not resists. I was also fortunate to find some more Armored Core mechs to add to my collection.

San Diego comic-con exclusive glow-in-the-dark revoltech Eva-01. Great price. And it glows!!!

Some more Totoro stuff, Keroro (how can anyone say no to Keroro), and a little Rocket Slime paperweight.
Those are the highlights of the weekend. Next year, I may plan on spending all three days there. And definitely pre-register because you can save tons of money and not have to wait in line. Now I just have to start thinking about who to go as...
